The Cinefoot-Football Film Festival - is the first film festival in Brazil and Latin America exclusively dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of films about the greater national passion: the football.
The competitive exhibitions are held in Rio de Janeiro and reward Cinefoot Cup to the best short and best feature film at the closing ceremony. In 2011, ran 10 short and 8 long.
In this second edition, the Cinefoot became an international event, bringing to Brazil films from Germany, Spain, Sweden, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and England.
Brazil already lives the climate of the 2014 World Cup. In this context, Cinefoot emerges as an innovative initiative, which comes to occupy a gap in the Brazilian circuit of festivals.
